The Illinois Pastoral is the first chapter in my portfolio. It is a group of photographs showing the views of the Illinois countryside just before winter sets in. The leaves have fallen, an overcast melancholy floats in the air, and everything is ready for the sleep of winter. The winds rustle through the dried leaves still clinging to the branches. A storm approaches then a magical sunset begins, and the autumn day is done.
